Transgender Identities, the Church, and Scripture

For the past several years, we have heard from many in our church community who know and love people who identify as transgender and are looking for Christ-centered guidance and support related to gender and gender identity. As a church community we want to look to the Bible for guidance and love people deeply.

We are excited to share that we have invited Dr. Preston Sprinkle, author of Embodied: Transgender Identities, the Church and What the Bible Has to Say to come and talk with our church community. Preston Sprinkle is a trusted voice on faith, sexuality, and gender. In 2016, he joined us for our Sexuality & Faith conference.

In these conversations, Preston will lay a relational and theological foundation for how Christ-followers can respond to and care for the transgender community. There will also be time for question and response, and questions may be submitted after you register.
