Baby Clothing & Supplies

As a part of Impact Ministry, the Mother & Child Resource team comes alongside new mothers and fathers to provide struggling families with many essential supplies for newborns, and a week’s worth of clothing for the first 12 months. Mother & Child Resource Ministry began in 1999 and has served over 4,875 moms and newborns around Dane County. Referrals of expectant mothers in need of support and physical resources come from a variety of hospitals and organizations around Dane County.

Over the past year, the number of requests has been on the rise and will likely increase in the year ahead. Join us in providing essential items to families and newborns in our communities. Drop off items at Blackhawk Church or purchase online from our Amazon Wish List. Questions? Contact [email protected].

Drop Off Dates:

    • Sunday, July 24 & 31 | All Sites
    • Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM – 3 PM | Blackhawk Brader Way, Lower Level
    • Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Blackhawk Brader Way, Lower Level

After July 31, donations can be dropped off anytime in the Mother & Child Resource room located in the lower level of Blackhawk Church Brader Way.

Needed items

Clothing (size preemie to 12 months)

New or gently used:

    • White onesies
    • Sleepers
    • Baby clothes (tops, bottoms, outfits, rompers for any season)
    • Socks

Supplies

New:

    • Diapers (size newborn & size 1)
    • Baby wipes
    • Bottles

New or gently used:

    • Blankets (receiving blankets & crib-sized blankets)
    • Bibs & burp cloths
    • Diaper bags (backpack style preferred)

Please note: Mother and Child Resource does not accept large nursery equipment and toys such as exersaucers, swings, strollers; toddler clothes or toys; breast pumps, or nursing supplies. If you would like to donate these types of items, please consider donating them to Babies & Beyond of WI, Inc. Please check their website for donation drop-off times. Neither Mother & Child Resource Ministry nor Babies & Beyond accept car seats or cribs.
