Anana Elementary School
Anana Elementary serves about 400 students from early childhood through 5th grade in a diverse, bilingual community built around high expectations and a love for learning. Blackhawk Brader Way partners with Anana through Madison Public Schools Foundation’s Adopt-a-School program, collecting donated goods and volunteering at school programs and events throughout the year.

WayForward Resources
WayForward Resources brings the community together to create food and housing security through action and advocacy. Blackhawk Brader Way partners with WayForward by collecting donated goods and volunteering at their programs throughout the year.

Cooking for Good
Once a month, a team prepares a meal in the Brader Way kitchen and delivers it to guests at Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS).

Mother and Child Resource Ministry
Since 1999, Mother and Child Resource Ministry has come alongside more than 5,500 moms and newborns across Dane County, connecting expectant mothers with essential newborn supplies through partnerships with local hospitals and organizations. Drop off gently used or new newborn clothing (up to 12 months) and supplies in the donation bin on the lower level of Blackhawk Brader Way. See our most needed items.

Red Cross Blood Drives
Blackhawk Brader Way hosts American Red Cross blood drives multiple times throughout the year. You can join the Blood Drive Team to help greet and register donors, or sign up directly with the Red Cross to donate blood.

The Beacon
The Beacon is a homeless day resource center providing community solutions for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in Dane County. Blackhawk Downtown partners with The Beacon through monthly Cooking for Good meals and collecting donated goods throughout the year.

Capital High School
Capital High serves students in grades 9-12 in a small, personalized learning environment. Blackhawk Downtown partners with Capital High through Madison Public Schools Foundation’s Adopt-a-School program, collecting donated goods and volunteering at school programs and events throughout the year.

Cooking for Good
Once a month, a team prepares a meal in the Upper House kitchen and delivers it to guests at The Beacon.

Badger Prairie Needs Network (BPNN)
BPNN is an all-volunteer nonprofit fighting poverty and hunger locally. They operate a food pantry, offer free community meals, run nutrition and culinary arts classes, maintain a community garden, and provide free legal advocacy for people experiencing homelessness. Blackhawk Fitchburg partners with BPNN by collecting donated goods and volunteering at their programs throughout the year.

Leopold Elementary School

Every spring, we take one Sunday and go out together as one church into the Dane County community to serve alongside our neighbors, schools, and community partners. 

Advent Conspiracy
During the Christmas season, we join a movement called Advent Conspiracy—an invitation to pause, remember God’s generosity in giving us Jesus, and respond by being generous to the world around us.
