Easter
At Blackhawk
SUNDAY, APRIL 5
Whether you’re celebrating, searching, or simply curious, you’re welcome here this Easter. Join us at our Brader Way (Middleton), Downtown, or Fitchburg locations, or online, as we remember the death and resurrection of Jesus together.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’re one church in three locations across the greater Madison area. No matter which campus you visit, you’ll experience live worship, practical Bible-centered teaching, and a community that is genuinely glad you’re here.
Each service lasts about 60 minutes and includes a message about the hope and life found in the death and resurrection of Jesus. We also offer a safe, fun environment for your kids. It’s designed to be meaningful whether this is your first time exploring faith or you’ve been walking with Jesus for years.

What Time Should I Get there?
We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early. This gives you time to find parking, grab coffee, drop kids at check-in if needed, and settle in before the service starts. Our team will be ready to welcome you and help with any questions.
Where Should I Park?
Brader Way & Fitchburg
As you arrive, the Parking Team will welcome you, assist you in parking, and point you to our main entrance.
Downtown
There are a few free parking options available Downtown on Sundays. We recommend the Grainger School of Business Parking Ramp, just two blocks away from the Upper House building. Street parking is also always free on Sundays. You’ll also find pay-on-exit ramps on Lake Street and Frances Street, plus a heated underground ramp directly below Upper House.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable! You’ll see everything from jeans and sweaters to dresses and button-downs. There’s no dress code, and we genuinely mean that. Come as you are.
What about Kids?
Blackhawk Kids offers fun and relevant programming for kids, birth through sixth grade. Services marked with an asterisk above (*) offer BKids programming. Everyone is invited to check their kids in, whether you’re a regular, it’s your first time, or you’re just visiting for Easter. Pre-register to make drop-off even faster. Pre-register here >
Kids are also welcome to sit with you in service in any venue. We also offer a Family Room, which is a family-friendly space for parents who’d like to keep their children with them during the service without worrying about distraction or disruption. The room includes activities for kids and a comfortable area for nursing mothers

For Kids & Families
Easter Reading Plan and Activitity Book
Help your kids walk through Jesus’ last week with an interactive telling of the Gospel. The reading plan starts Palm Sunday, March 29. Set aside a few minutes each day during Holy Week to read that day’s portion of the story and do some simple activities together. It’s a meaningful way to prepare your family’s hearts for Easter.
Communion Family Guide
Our Maundy Thursday services centered on the Last Supper and the celebration of communion. At Blackhawk, if your child has placed their faith in Jesus and him alone, they are welcome to take communion. We hope this guide will help your family talk through this meaningful step together.
