Jesus spoke about the kingdom of God more than any other topic. He proclaimed the good news that, through him, God’s kingdom had arrived and that everyone could be a part of it — not just in the distant future but right now. As we find ourselves in an election year in the U.S., many are pondering what it truly means to be a follower of Christ in this season. Over the next seven weeks, we’ll address some of these questions as we explore what it means to be a citizen of the kingdom of God and how we can navigate the complex issues in our country today.
