College-Age Ministry (CAM) is a diverse family of 18-25 year olds seeking to build a loving community that follows Christ in order to reach a community with the same love we’ve so graciously been given. Wherever you are at in your faith journey, you’re welcome here!

We gather on Tuesday nights at 7 PM during the school year at Upper House on East Campus Mall.

New to Blackhawk Fitchburg or simply curious about the building and how it’s used Sundays and beyond? Join us for a building tour led by one of our staff. Tours will start following each service hour and will begin in the Atrium.

Every spring we choose a time to go into the Dane County community to serve all together as a church community. We call this Love Madison. We want to connect with our neighbors and actively show people the love of Jesus through our actions! Throughout the year, people who attend Blackhawk Church are serving all over our community. But on this day, we want to serve on a grander scale by engaging the whole church in projects all over Dane County.

Projects include in-person outdoor and indoor projects with community organizations with tasks such as gardening or landscape clean-up, deep cleaning, sorting, administrative, and much more. We also have projects that can be done in whatever city you are in (check out our Serve Where You projects). There’s something for everyone. Registration opens on Sunday, April 21 and closes on Sunday, May 12. Sign up today

Cooking For Good – Blackhawk Brader Way comes alongside our neighbors who have experienced and fled domestic abuse. Once a month, we prepare a meal in the Blackhawk Brader Way industrial kitchen that will be dropped off and served to guests at Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS).

Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) works to make Dane County, WI, a safer, more just, more equitable place for people who have experienced domestic violence, their children, and the people who love them. They offer a wide array of crisis intervention and community education/prevention programs, including a 24-hour Help Line, programming for children from violent homes, legal advocacy, support groups, and emergency safety planning. DAIS is also the only domestic violence shelter in all of Dane County.

Cooking For Good – Blackhawk Downtown comes alongside our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. Once a month, they will prepare a meal in the Upper House industrial kitchen that will be dropped off and served to guests at The Beacon.

The Beacon homeless day resource center provides community solutions to help men, women, and children who are experiencing homelessness in Dane County, Wisconsin. They are committed to providing services that address the causes of homelessness in an environment that allows people to feel welcome, safe, and respected. Guests have access to resources and professional staff to assist them with housing, employment, mental health, and substance abuse counseling; as well as services that help restore their dignity such as showers and laundry facilities.
