With the busyness of Sunday mornings, it can be hard to meet your kiddo’s church friends or connect with other families with kids the same age. So, we’ve created 2nd Sundays Family Gatherings as a space to make connecting and building relationships easier.

We invite you to bring your family to the 2nd Sunday gatherings that matches your kid’s age(s).

Cooking For Good – Blackhawk Brader Way comes alongside our neighbors who have experienced and fled domestic abuse. Once a month, we prepare a meal in the Blackhawk Brader Way industrial kitchen that will be dropped off and served to guests at Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS).

Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) works to make Dane County, WI, a safer, more just, more equitable place for people who have experienced domestic violence, their children, and the people who love them. They offer a wide array of crisis intervention and community education/prevention programs, including a 24-hour Help Line, programming for children from violent homes, legal advocacy, support groups, and emergency safety planning. DAIS is also the only domestic violence shelter in all of Dane County.

Blackhawk High School Ministry is headed to Noah’s Ark Water Park for a day away full of water slides, wave pools, and a ton of fun! This trip is open to all students who have just finished 9th-12th grade. We will ride together on buses, enjoy a provided lunch, and spend a fun day in the sun. Be sure to invite your friends—this is a perfect way to kick off the summer together!

After attending Summer 6.0, we hope students walk away with a better understanding of who God is, their identity in Christ, and how God uniquely created them. RSVPing is 100% optional. If a friend decides to come along day-of, just bring em’ along. Each night of Summer 6.0 is unique some come to a few or all!

They partnering with communities to educate and meet the needs of at-risk children, women, and family facing trauma in a volatile part of the world.
